The engineering work involves redesigning the site for a new location (2.923 acres purchased from the City of Bernie), including site civil work, water main connection, permitting, and construction management, with an estimated total engineering cost of $728,892.95.

The event centered around the designation of Fair Oaks Ranch as a Purple Heart City and the unveiling of corresponding street signs, making the city part of the Purple Heart Trail. Furthermore, a resolution was passed to ratify the property tax rate reflected in the General Fund and Debt Service Fund budgets, as required by state law when the budget exceeds the effective tax rate. The final action involved the appointment of John Wall to the alternate place on the City of Fair Oaks Ranch Board of Appeals.
