Anser Charter School's educational philosophy, rooted in EL Education, aims to develop the whole child through high academic standards, real-world experiences, and strong character. The curriculum integrates Bridges in Mathematics, UFLI Foundations for early literacy, and interdisciplinary K-5 "Expeditions" focused on inquiry and real-world issues. The Anser Charter School Board of Directors held a special meeting to conduct interviews for the Executive Director position. The board entered and exited an executive session for the interviews. Following the executive session, the board voted to send a letter offering the executive director position to Renee Bade.

The board discussed the April 2025 budget summary, reviewed the draft 2025-2026 budget, and considered the impact of attendance on the budget. They also discussed board succession planning, subcommittee essential question templates, and a system for announcing upcoming events. The board addressed the changing student profile and the weighted lottery policy, received a legislative update, and removed the executive session from the agenda.

The 2019-2020 Continuous Improvement Plan for Anser Charter School focuses on reinforcing the school's foundation and planning for future initiatives aligned with its mission and vision. Key areas of focus include providing a rigorous curriculum that promotes high academic achievement, strong character development, and community service; securing the financial resources necessary for sustainability and effective resource management; and strengthening the organizational infrastructure, including its culture, community, governance, and compliance. The plan emphasizes a collaborative learning community where students are inspired to reach their academic potential and feel a sense of responsibility to the world. Specific goals include improving student performance on standardized tests (ISAT) across various grade levels, increasing student attendance rates, enhancing parent engagement, and ensuring that all students are college and career ready upon graduation.
