Dixon City Council Regular Meeting
The Council conducted a closed session regarding labor negotiations, liability claims, and anticipated litigation. The open session included a swearing-in ceremony for a new Battalion Chief and a retirement proclamation for a Transit Supervisor. An operational review of the 4th of July event was presented. Public comments addressed parking restrictions on East H Street. Several action items were addressed, including the approval of a professional services agreement for economic impact policy implementation, a corridor study for West A Street, and construction management services for the Parkway Boulevard Grade Separation Project. The Council also authorized surplus vehicle auctions, accepted a cannabis tax fund grant for police training, and approved the appointment of a new trustee to the Solano County Mosquito Abatement District Board. Additionally, the Pavement Preservation Project list was approved, and a community support donation to the Dixon Historical Society was authorized.
