The 2023-2029 Strategic Plan for Texas State University's Division of Information Technology focuses on providing effective, reliable, and secure technology services with excellent customer support. Key priorities include updating the customer and user experience through website, mobile app, and wireless network upgrades; releasing an updated ERP system; replacing the identity management system; expanding research computing capabilities; and decreasing administrative burdens through process streamlining and technology adoption. These initiatives aim to support student success, advance academic excellence, expand research and innovation, enrich community partnerships, and develop robust infrastructure and resources, ultimately contributing to the university's goal of achieving Carnegie R1 status.
