Policy Committee Meeting Notes
The committee reviewed the Nanuet Chromebook Agreement, specifically the new optional Device Protection Plan, which will allow parents to purchase coverage for normal wear and tear on an annual basis. Additionally, the committee conducted annual policy reviews, including the District Wide Safety Plan for 2026-27, Student Attendance policy, Code of Conduct policies, Title I Parent and Family Engagement policy, and the Purchasing/Procurement Policy. Updates for these policies were discussed for future board approval, and plans for a public hearing regarding the District Wide Safety Plan were outlined.
