The Council reviewed and approved updates to Flex and Pay policies, job descriptions, and the disbursement of Reserve funds. It establishes a long-range vision focused on ethical and quality service, resource stewardship, and a high quality of life for residents and businesses. The plan is structured around key elements: Population, Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, Economic Development, Housing, Transportation, Land Use, Community Facilities, Resilience, and Priority Investment.

The council meeting addressed various administrative and community matters, including reports on local construction, public safety awareness, and concerns regarding county road signage and land use ordinances. Public comments were received on party-endorsed statements, economic development projects, and senior assistance programs.
