The 2026-27 Local Control and Accountability Plan for New Designs Charter School-Watts is a roadmap to enhance student opportunities and outcomes, addressing identified needs and disparities. It focuses on four main goals: ensuring equitable access to highly qualified teachers, quality facilities, and standards-aligned instruction; fostering academic growth in English Language Arts, Math, and Science for college and career readiness; strengthening community connection, engagement, and well-being for all students, families, and staff; and specifically improving ELA achievement for African American students through targeted teacher development and retention initiatives.
