It comprises eight core components: Commitment, Capacity, Assessment, Planning, Evaluation, Cultural Competence, Sustainability, and Implementation, intended as an ongoing and iterative process.

This Quality Enhancement Plan, titled "Ready. Set. Soar.", focuses on improving new student onboarding to enhance student success, persistence, retention, and timely graduation rates. It outlines three core strategies: a welcoming new student orientation, a first-semester anchor course emphasizing career and transfer skills, and guided pathways for essential planning and credential completion. The plan aims to achieve a 2% annual growth across five key success measures, including credit hour completion, gateway course completion, specific course completion (ACA 122/WBL 110), degree/transfer/enrollment rates, and student engagement. This is a 5-year plan being rolled out starting in 2024.
