The Cégep Garneau's 2020-2025 strategic plan centers around three main axes: training, support, and inspiration. The plan aims to provide an inspiring educational experience with up-to-date and enriching training and study paths; to offer competent and dedicated teams within a healthy, welcoming, and inclusive environment; and to foster an engaged and responsible community within an open institution that values collaboration. Specific commitments include supporting the integration of new practical training avenues, modernizing facilities, developing a coherent extracurricular program, establishing a strategy for supporting and recognizing student engagement, encouraging student initiatives in responsible entrepreneurship, supporting the integration of digital resources, creating new active learning classrooms, integrating the goals of general education into program objectives, updating the pedagogical innovation support program, supporting institution-wide projects, developing a program map, establishing a program management policy, implementing a concerted strategy to support academic success, consolidating the range of services in support and accompaniment measures for students, implementing a staff welcome program, supporting staff integration and knowledge transfer, updating staff recruitment methods, improving the Health, Safety, and Well-being Approach in studies and at work, establishing new work-life balance measures, deploying the Diversity Inclusion Strategy, supporting the inclusion of Indigenous, immigrant, and international students, updating classrooms, developing the interior courtyard into a community meeting place, developing inviting and user-friendly main entrances to the pavilions, renovating the cafeteria of Pavilion G and diversifying the food offerings, implementing the Institutional Policy on Sustainable Development, undertaking a carbon neutrality initiative, consolidating the role of the sustainable development watch network, stimulating and highlighting sustainable development practices, initiatives, and projects, organizing responsible management of institutional data, implementing the Master Plan for Information Resources, and exploiting the potential and expertise of the Digital Office.
