Weatherford Independent School District Board of Trustees Regular Meeting
The Board convened in executive session to discuss personnel, student discipline, safety and security, property matters, and legal consultations. Key actions taken included the appointment of a Director of Finance, the approval of budget amendments for the General Fund and Child Nutrition programs, and the adoption of policy revision recommendations from the Texas Association of School Boards. Additionally, the Board established meeting dates for the upcoming year, set new meal prices, approved resolutions for 4H programs and adjunct faculty status, and passed a Foreign Exchange Waiver. Other business included approval of the Student Code of Conduct, the teacher appraisal calendar, investment policies and vendor lists, the Certified Appraisal Roll, and the Parker County Appraisal District financial audit. The Superintendent also provided reports regarding program evaluations, student assessment results, financial reports, and federal grant applications.
