The board conducted a hearing regarding amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and a Zoning Map Change, both of which were approved. A resident presented a complaint regarding an obstruction in the Township Right of Way. The board authorized an agreement for tree care services at Norlo Park and granted a 90-day extension for a land development project. Several land development and subdivision plans were reviewed and approved, including projects for residential lots, a solar energy installation, and property consolidations. Additionally, the board set dates for upcoming Spring Bulk Days and approved the payment of bills.

The Supervisors meeting addressed several critical items. A resident raised concerns regarding the maintenance and repair of cluster mailboxes in non-HOA areas following recent damage from snowplows, suggesting the Township assume maintenance and charge an annual resident fee. The Supervisors unanimously approved the Chairman to execute Developers Agreements and identical Decommissioning Agreements for Maple Ridge Solar A and Maple Ridge Solar B. A Subdivision lot addition for Chad Frey was approved, subject to conditions. Furthermore, the Chairman was authorized to execute a capital improvement funding commitment letter for the Wastewater Treatment Facility. The Supervisors also approved letters stating no objection to the Marion Volunteer Fire Co. and New Franklin Volunteer Fire Co. serving alcohol at their events to satisfy PLCB requirements. Bids for Fuel, Equipment, Tar & Chip, Line Painting, and Cold in Place Recycling were approved for advertisement and opening on March 19, 2026. The bills were also approved for payment.

The Supervisors meeting included the distribution of the Treasurer's report. Key actions involved approving the Chairman to execute agreements for a new Western Star single axle dump truck chassis and its associated fit-out, both budgeted for 2026. The board unanimously approved Resolution # 2026-02, a five-year Winter Services Agreement with Penn Dot for roadway treatment on specific roads related to the Exit 12 interchange project, authorizing the Chairman to execute it. A Land Development plan for the Franklin Learning Center to increase parking was conditionally approved. The Supervisors also approved the even distribution of budgeted 2026 EMS supplemental contribution monies among the three emergency services providers residing in the Township, and they approved the payment of outstanding bills. Additionally, they approved the advertisement for a hearing concerning Zoning text amendments and map changes.

The meeting addressed several key issues including a request for a sign at the split exiting Spyglass Hill Rd. onto Anthony Highway, discussion on no soliciting ordinances, and an update on Congressional Terrace. The Supervisors also discussed golf course crossing signs, a Limited Easement Agreement for Colby Nitterhouse, and approved multiple resolutions supporting local volunteer fire departments and an agreement with Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Co. to provide Fire Service to Guilford Township. Additionally, they reviewed and approved the Street Light analysis for 2026, advertisement of the meeting dates for 2026, and a request from Martins Famous Pastry Shoppe for a 90-day extension on a lot Consolidation/Land Development Plan. Several Land Development Plans were approved, including those for U-Haul, WAWA, and Bean Hollow, along with a Subdivision/lot addition plan for Elsie Shank Estate. The Supervisors also discussed a winter Maintenance Agreement for Penn Dot and an EMS supplemental contribution disbursement, deciding to split the money evenly between the three fire departments in the Township. The meeting also covered the Congressional Terrace sink hole and an executive session to discuss a personnel situation.

The meeting addressed clarification on the Township's contribution to the employee's HSA and cancelation charges for USSSSA field reservations. There was support expressed for Guilford Township and its park operations, along with discussions regarding an assault on Guilford Township and Norlo Park. Updates were provided on the sinkhole on Congressional Terrace and complaints about chip seal pavement projects. The Supervisors approved a Sub-Division/Lot Addition Plan for Marion Athletic Association and a Sub-Division Land Development Plan for Ernstburg Builders. They also approved multiple 90-day plan review extension requests and the paying of the bills.
