BoardDeckerville Community Schools Board of Education Board News Release
The Board of Education addressed several financial matters, including the approval of General Fund and Athletic Fund bills. They received a presentation on the 2014-2015 ISD budget and adopted the Best Practice Incentive Resolution. Policy changes regarding criminal history record checks and criminal justice information security were reviewed and adopted. Winter Sports Coaches were approved for the 2014-2015 season. The Board approved summer office hours and a request to lease school grounds for the Deckerville Homecoming fireworks display. Bus drivers were authorized to use sick and business days for inclement weather cancellations. Finally, the Board discussed the schedule for make-up days.
