The strategic plan for the Commission on State Emergency Communications focuses on enhancing public safety and health in Texas through reliable access to emergency communications services. Key areas of focus include maintaining current 9-1-1 service levels, transitioning to Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) systems, implementing text-to-9-1-1 service, and deploying Emergency Services Internet-Protocol Networks (ESInets).
