Howard County Commissioners Court Special Budget Workshop Session
The Commissioners Court held a special budget workshop to review and discuss budget requests and operational needs for various county departments for the upcoming 2026-2027 fiscal year. Department heads from a wide range of county offices, including the Tax Assessor, Auditor, Sheriff, and IT, presented their budgetary requirements. The County Auditor additionally presented requests on behalf of departments unable to attend. No formal action regarding the budget was taken during these proceedings.
