The committee meeting featured a presentation from the Chief Information Technology Officer on IT focus areas including AI integration, data governance, and network security. Forvis Mazars auditors provided a post-audit presentation covering internal controls, audit strategy, and accounting policies. CRI auditors presented financial statement reviews and audit result statistics, including findings from previous years. The committee approved the renewal of the Construction Cost Verification Contract with CRI. Additionally, the committee reviewed the entity-wide risk assessment process and timeline for 2026, the Internal Audit activities status report, and the Auditor General Operational Audit Report along with management's response regarding recurring findings.

The board will convene for an open public comment session to hear from community members, followed by a regular session to consider a series of agenda items.

Additionally, the meeting initiated the school naming process, outlining the procedures for community engagement and naming surveys.
