South Dakota Board Of Accountancy Meeting Minutes
The Board elected new officers, conducted an annual review of open meeting laws, and authorized the issuance of certificates and firm permits. Financial matters included the approval of financial statements and the proposed FY28 budget. The Board also approved travel for the upcoming NASBA annual meeting and ratified CPA exam scores. Additionally, the Board engaged in discussions with representatives from the South Dakota CPA Society regarding changes to statutes and administrative rules, CPA Exam Evolution, and other industry initiatives. An executive session was held to discuss peer reviews.
