Penn State Beaver's strategic plan (2020-2025) focuses on increasing diversity and recruitment, fostering inclusion and retention, and cultivating equity and community. The plan prioritizes student success through initiatives focused on access/aid, welcome/belonging, engagement/involvement, and preparation/management. Specific goals include developing a campus master plan to improve student spaces, expanding athletic programs and launching an esports initiative to increase enrollment, diversifying the campus community through promotional materials and DEI initiatives, and implementing a strategic communications plan. Academically, the plan aims to partner with other campuses to increase bachelor's degrees in high-demand fields, cultivate high-impact teaching and learning through undergraduate research and experiential learning opportunities, and improve diversity, equity, and inclusion practices. Community engagement is a key focus, with initiatives supporting high-impact experiential learning, collaboration with local industry, and community events. Sustainability efforts are also prioritized. Overall, the plan aims to grow degree offerings, improve campus spaces, enhance high-impact learning, and celebrate the diverse and nationally recognized faculty and staff.
