The LA CaTS Center's mission is to foster, support, and expand clinical and translational research. This is achieved by developing a collaborative infrastructure among participating institutions, increasing the critical mass of investigators through pilot project awards and clinical scholars programs, and building strong, reciprocal relationships with the community through a Community Engagement Board to ensure research addresses community needs.

This School Literacy Plan for St. Charles Street Elementary aims to ensure every child achieves literacy and improved outcomes through high-quality instruction. Key priorities include student-focused goals to increase performance on literacy screeners and the ELA LEAP exam across K-6, and ensuring 100% of K-3 reading teachers and administrators complete early literacy training. The plan emphasizes consistent implementation of Tier 1 literacy curriculum, systematic interventions, ongoing professional growth for educators, and active family engagement.

The board will convene to hold a public hearing and subsequent public meeting regarding the levying of millage rates for the year 2024.
