The council received various briefings, including an update on the fiscal year investment and financial reports, and a preliminary look at the upcoming budget. Several resolutions were approved, covering the appointment of members to advisory committees, the authorization of a professional services agreement for an elevated storage tank, the issuance of certificates of obligation, the establishment of the Northlake Municipal Development District following a special election, the dissolution of community and economic development corporations, the creation of a council subcommittee for boards and commissions, and an ordinance amendment regarding delinquent water charges.

The Board of Directors meeting agenda focuses on an overview of the Municipal Development District, including board training and the history and governance of the district. Action items included a public hearing and consideration of a recommendation for the Henry East industrial site plan and consideration of a site plan for the Project 10X industrial campus.
