Avondale Elementary School District Regular Meeting
The Governing Board focused on several key items including the adoption of the meeting agenda, Superintendent reports regarding the district's Visible Learning certification, and updates on leadership study sessions. Information was presented on summer programming outcomes, teacher recruitment and retention efforts, new organizational charts, progress monitoring calendars, and first reads for several ASBA policy advisories. The Board approved the hiring of an Assistant Director of Transportation and the 2027 ASBA Political Agenda. Additionally, a wide range of consent items were passed, including personnel actions such as hires and transfers, financial vouchers, inter-agency agreements with various partners, and professional travel requests.
