The discussion covered clinical evidence, coverage criteria, technology hubs, and the necessity of behavioral interventions. The council made formal recommendations to require separate criteria for behavioral and medical diagnoses, to implement a joint review process for authorizations, to require concurrent behavioral therapy, and to authorize coverage for the technology hub.
