Concert
The document details the program for the 2026 Spring Choir Concert, which appears to be a recording of performances rather than formal board meeting minutes. The event featured several musical selections presented by seventh-grade choir students, including an original work titled "Music," "Shalom, My Friends," "Do You Feel It," "Sing a New Song," "Song of the Sea," and concluded with "Old Joe Clark." Speakers introduced each piece, noting the performers, composers, and thematic elements of the music. There were also transitional remarks between musical segments, updates regarding scheduling and staff appreciation (specifically for the accompanist, Mr. Bob), and acknowledgments of the students' hard work.

The School Board is considering revoking an existing referendum revenue authorization of $625.69 per pupil and replacing it with a new authorization of $1,310.69 per pupil, subject to an annual increase at the rate of inflation. This would increase the School District's general education revenue by $685 per pupil, also subject to an annual increase. The new authorization would be levied starting in 2025 for taxes payable in 2026 and would last for ten years. A special election is called for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, to submit the question to the qualified electors of the School District.

Mcc School Board Public Meeting
The meeting discussed an operating levy increase to sustain the quality education in Murray County Central public schools. The levy is intended to address state aid not keeping up with inflation and unfunded mandates. The proposed levy would help maintain reasonable class sizes, retain high-quality teachers, continue offering career, technical, and college-ready opportunities, and support academic, fine arts, athletics, and co-curricular activities. The estimated tax impact would be about $171 per year on a home valued at $150,000. If the levy is not approved, MCC would face additional budget cuts.

Board Meeting
The meeting focused on the upcoming operating referendum special election and the need for an operating levy increase to sustain the quality of education. Key discussion points included the definition of an operating levy, the reasons for the levy request, budget reductions, and the impact of state aid not keeping up with inflation. The board also reviewed the number of school districts seeking voter approval for operating levies and the tax impact on homeowners. Additionally, state property tax refunds and deferrals were discussed as potential resources for taxpayers.
