Board Meeting
The meeting included recognition of staff of the year and teachers recognized by the Department of Education for Merit pay. A board member was recognized for 15 years of service. The board discussed bus engine replacement with a 5-year warranty, and the replacement of 90 desktop computers across the district. An update was provided on previously approved building projects. An amendment to the Student Handbook was approved, along with student transfers. The board approved school board policy updates, appointed the Superintendent as their official designee, and approved stylistic changes to personnel policies. They also discussed the termination hearing of a classified employee and approved personnel items. The board agreed to hold the August board meeting in the city council chambers and to skip the July board meeting. The meeting adjourned at 6:25PM.
