The strategic plan for Douglas School District 51-1 focuses on student success through academic achievement, positive behavior, and consistent attendance, supported by clear goals and continuous improvement. It emphasizes creating a welcoming and safe learning environment that values diversity, developing adaptability through professional development, and using data for informed decisions. The plan also aims to ensure fiscal responsibility, promote family and community engagement, enhance crisis response, and develop a robust mental health and wellness plan for all stakeholders.
