The board conducted an agenda review for upcoming items and held a presentation regarding ambulance coverage for the Hilton Fire District. Additionally, the board held an executive session to discuss a personnel matter.

The Planning Board reviewed multiple development applications. Key topics included a preliminary plat proposal for the Mill Hollow North Subdivision, which was continued to a future meeting due to outstanding DPW requirements and drainage concerns. The Board granted final plat approval for the Sheedy Subdivision, a conveyance-only re-subdivision, following a negative environmental declaration under SEQRA. Additionally, the Board conducted concept plan reviews for the North Park Estates II subdivision and a proposed 27-lot residential development on Latta Road.

The Planning Board addressed several new business items including a request for a preliminary and final plat for the Bostley Properties subdivision and a site plan application for a building expansion at 4545 West Ridge Road. Both projects underwent environmental reviews under SEQRA and were ultimately approved with specific conditions, such as required infrastructure improvements, permit filings, and compliance with various town codes and regulations.

The meeting includes public hearings for the Community Development Block Grant program and the establishment of a Historic Preservation Board. Key action items involve authorizing various service and maintenance agreements for town facilities and technology systems, approving personnel appointments and structural changes, awarding public works contracts, and issuing requests for proposals for dam and bridge engineering assessments. Additionally, the Board addressed budget adjustments, sidewalk waivers, special use permits, event approvals including a parade, and certifications related to age-friendly community initiatives.

The Board discussed and made determinations on several zoning applications. Decisions included approving area variances for fence height and placement, an accessory structure height, and a residential accessory structure location, as well as a special use permit for a major home occupation. Several applications were continued to future meetings. Additionally, the Board initiated the process to act as the lead agency for a coordinated environmental review regarding a proposed telecommunications facility and authorized the retention of an independent consultant to review that specific application.
