La Vista Economic Development Program
This document outlines La Vista's Economic Development Program (EDP), which began in 2003 and is subject to a continuation vote in 2026. The EDP functions as a strategic tool for the city to attract and incentivize transformational economic development projects, aiming to diversify the tax base and generate significant revenue. Applications for EDP funds are rigorously reviewed by a citizen advisory committee and the city council, prioritizing projects that demonstrate substantial return on investment and contribute to the community's future.
