Board of Directors of South Texas ISD Regular Meeting
The Board of Directors held a regular meeting covering numerous administrative and operational agenda items. Executive session discussions included personnel matters for the 2026-2027 school year, internal audit findings, a student-related matter, and a Level III grievance. In open session, the Board approved professional staff recommendations, addressed teacher resignation issues, authorized legal actions regarding grievances, and approved several consent agenda items covering construction projects, financial reports, budget amendments, and policy updates. Additionally, the Board received reports on Advanced Placement scores, CTE programs, construction progress, and district enrollment projections, and nominated a candidate for the Cameron County Appraisal District Board.
