Schuylkill Haven Area School District Regular Board Meeting
The board discussed and approved several items including facilities requests, extracurricular staff appointments and resignations, and an overnight stay for student athletes. Building and grounds updates were provided, alongside approvals for custodial staff appointments, a gym-jam summer lease, an unpaid leave request, a shared food services agreement, and a donation for the baseball student media center project. Administrative restructuring was approved, as well as a new payroll and human resources appointment, an IU/STC representative appointment, and a settlement agreement for a subsidy dispute. Finance items included a lease renewal for child development services, the closure of multiple bank accounts, the adoption of a homestead and farmstead exclusion resolution, and a resolution for increased state funding for public education. Additionally, the proposed final budget for the upcoming school year was recommended for public review.
