The board conducted a work session discussing various administrative and educational topics.

The meeting included a special recognition for the Eagleville High School girls softball team. The Board also conducted various elections and confirmations for positions on local boards, including the Board of Health, CCRC board, library board, planning commission, and the Juvenile Detention Center Board.

The board discussed policy adoptions regarding grade point average calculations and annual instructional observances. The session included a review of student fee approvals and engineering projects, specifically a demolition contingency request and the replacement of a football scoreboard. Turf installation requests for a baseball pitcher's mound were reviewed, alongside end-of-year budget cleanup amendments for multiple funds. The board also examined salary scales for certified and classified staff, and addressed concerns regarding payroll frequency for teachers.

The board meeting focused on several key items including the approval of bids for maintenance and services, facility usage agreements, and the appointment of non-faculty volunteer coaches. The board also addressed policy adoptions, including updates to GPA criteria for valedictorian/salutatorian and a new policy for the annual instructional observance of Independence Day. Additionally, financial matters such as budget amendments for the General Purpose and Centralized Cafeteria funds, approval of student fees, and engineering projects like the Siegel High video board and Christiana Middle baseball turf were reviewed and approved.
