The Board of Supervisors discussed the adoption of a tentative budget for the upcoming fiscal year, reviewed annual audited financial statements, and addressed board matters including management, supervisor, and counsel requests.

The meeting included a recognition of the Fine Arts program, counselors of the year, and high-achieving student athletes. The board workshop focused on proposed revisions to the student code of conduct. Key discussion topics included the process for reviewing and updating the code, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and clarifying policies regarding student dress code, electronic device usage, and disciplinary actions. Specific attention was given to the use of AI tools, harassment, hate speech, and the integration of dating violence language. The board also discussed the implementation of an intervention program for first-time drug-related offenses and the severe consequences associated with the distribution of harmful digital images and deep fakes.

The board meeting included the official swearing-in of a new board member, a fine arts performance by the Celebration High School theater department, and the recognition of the district's first graduate from the Rollins College Pathways to Teaching program. The board proclaimed March as Arts in Our Schools Month and Women's History Month. Additional discussions covered the ribbon cutting for a new school, the graduation of new criminal justice academy recruits, the opening of new food pantries at various elementary schools, and renovations at a local school.
