The council convened for a special meeting to conduct a closed session dedicated to personnel matters.

Additionally, the board discussed the status of the video projector project, confirming that testing is scheduled for early June.

The board conducted a public hearing regarding an application for subdivision approval, lot width and square footage variations, rezoning, and an amendment to a special use permit for One Line Church. Key discussion topics included the expansion of the existing parking lot to increase capacity from 89 to 148 spaces, drainage and flooding concerns on President Street, landscape screening improvements, and photometric requirements for lighting. The board unanimously recommended approval of the zoning request subject to specific conditions regarding lighting, parking striping, and further staff review of engineering plans.
