County Council of Cecil County Legislative Session Minutes
The council received presentations regarding historical society programs and conducted a public hearing on a rezoning application. Council members discussed insights gained from the MACo Summer Conference, including topics on energy capacity and infrastructure. Several resolutions were introduced, including an equipment agreement for the Sheriff's Office, the expansion of an Enterprise Zone to facilitate an innovation hub, and a new appointment to the Planning Commission. The council voted to approve reappointments and appointments to the Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board, the Susquehanna Workforce Network Board, the Commission for Women, and the Building Board of Appeals. Furthermore, the council approved a bill establishing the sanitary sewer benefit assessment for the Little Elk Creek subdistrict.
