The Management Committee discussed various transportation projects, including the Federal Transportation Improvement Program for FFY 2026/27-2031/32, the awarding of a consulting contract for the ICTC/IVT Administration, Operations and Maintenance Facility, and the annual financial audit for the Imperial County Local Transportation Authority. Additionally, a presentation regarding the Imperial County EV Charging Station Passenger Vehicle Feasibility Study was included as part of the agenda.

The committee meeting focused on a presentation regarding the EV Charging Station Passenger Vehicle Feasibility Study, which included discussions on site analysis, infrastructure electrical capacity requirements, cost-benefit evaluations, and collaboration with the IID. Furthermore, the committee reviewed updates regarding SCAG and ICTC project announcements, including the upcoming General Assembly and the selection of CMAQ and STBG projects. Additional segments of the meeting involved reports on planning and public works from various agencies and a session for general discussions and new business.

The Council reviewed several operational reports, including updates on bus stop improvement projects, the progress of the Comprehensive Operations Analysis Study, and the implementation of a GTFS bus tracking system and contactless payment. Additionally, reports were provided on transit operator performance for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27, specifically covering IVT Transit service updates following a strike, construction-related route detours, IVT Access prioritization for medical appointments, and IVT MedTrans operations. The Council also held a discussion regarding the public hearing for Unmet Transit Needs and updated the UTN list.

The committee discussed updates regarding the upcoming General Assembly, ongoing construction activities for the Calexico Intermodal Transportation Center, the progress of the Transit Comprehensive Operational Analysis, and developments for various bridge rehabilitation and infrastructure feasibility projects. Additionally, the committee heard reports from SCAG and Caltrans, held elections for the Chair and Vice-Chair positions for the upcoming year, and received a presentation concerning the Imperial County Local Transportation Authority Measure D Sales Tax and bond capacity.
