The Board of Education convened to discuss and act on personnel matters, legal issues, harassment, intimidation, bullying, and contract negotiations during an executive session. Following the executive session, the Board approved a resolution regarding a pupil residency decision.

The meeting featured a public budget hearing and the presentation of the 2026-2027 school district budget. The Board discussed district planning, emphasizing a commitment to maintaining class sizes and current staffing levels. Key actions included the approval of the district budget, adoption of tuition costs, and the awarding of contracts for restroom renovations and instructional space conversions at Manito Elementary and Heights Elementary Schools. Additionally, the Board authorized various equipment purchases, including floor scrubbers, interactive display boards, Chromebooks, MacBooks, and iPads, and accepted several grants and donations.

The Board of Education meeting included reports on monthly school safety drills, personnel actions such as resignations, retirements, and new appointments, and the approval of Title III virtual professional development for teachers.
