The council discussed the administration's 1% increase to retirement contributions and decided to draft a letter to the President and the provost. Tamar was appointed as interim-chair. The council agreed to prepare the letter and run an election for council chair. The letter will be circulated to council first and then sent to president and provost with a copy distributed to the faculty. The letter should discuss the meeting with the administration, and Gabe and Maria will compose a draft.
