Alabama Coastal Management Program Assessment and Strategy 2026-2030
This document, an assessment and strategy for the Alabama Coastal Management Program, aims to balance economic growth with the conservation of Alabama's coastal resources for future generations. It promotes wise management of cultural and natural resources and fosters long-term ecological and economic productivity. The program assesses and prioritizes nine enhancement areas, including wetlands, coastal hazards, public access, marine debris, cumulative and secondary impacts, special area management planning, ocean and Great Lakes resources, energy and government facility siting, and aquaculture.
