Bluefield University Honors Convocation
The event celebrated student achievement in academics, leadership, and character, highlighting those who exceeded expectations and embodied the university's mission to develop servant leaders. Key segments included a scripture reading and reflection by Dr. Emily Lambert, the 2024 recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award, focusing on the privilege of serving others. Awards were presented to students from various classes (freshman, sophomore, junior, non-graduating senior) for academic excellence, including those on the Dean's and President's Lists. Specific outstanding graduate awards were presented for Biology, Business Administration (MBA), Communication Arts, Counseling, and Criminal Justice programs, recognizing dedication, resilience, and leadership qualities.
