The Hale County Board of Education convened for a meeting and the initial Budget Hearing for Fiscal Year 2025. The board discussed facility usage, capital projects, out-of-state field trip requests, facility use forms, and consent items including financial reports, service agreements, and field trip requests. The Superintendent's Report included updates on AASB, capital projects, safety and security measures, and school improvement initiatives. The board also discussed personnel recommendations, including resignations and employment.

The Hale County Board of Education held a meeting that included a budget hearing for Fiscal Year 2025, during which the 2025 budget was approved. The board also approved field trip requests for the College and Career Academy and Greensboro Elementary School. Additionally, the board convened in an executive session and later approved a personnel recommendation involving the resignation of a maintenance worker.

The Hale County Board of Education held an Annual Public Hearing and Board Meeting. The public hearing focused on stakeholder input to improve the Hale County School System. Principals addressed the Board with requests for professional development and the hiring of non-faculty head coaches. The Board approved out-of-state field trip requests and capital projects. They also discussed the Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB) Summer Conference, Statement of Economic Interests, Capital Project Updates, Safety and Security measures, School Improvement initiatives, Ed Farm Updates, and Cognia Accreditation Status. The meeting included updates on events and activities in various schools, followed by an Executive Session. The Board approved personnel recommendations, including resignations, retirements, employment, and a voluntary transfer.

The Hale County Board of Education meeting included presentations, recognition of Senator Bobby Singleton with an appreciation plaque, and discussions on unfinished and new business. New business included a discussion regarding the name change for the Hale County High School Baseball Field, student zone variance requests, and out-of-state field trip requests. The board also discussed the Superintendent's report, which included updates on the Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB), School Improvement, ACT WorkKeys Results, Strategic Plan, Cognia Accreditation Review, Capital Bond Issue Updates, Grant Opportunities, Truancy Pilot Program, Facility Enhancements at GES, and a Multi-Agency Active Shooter Drill. The board then voted to go into Executive Session for the purpose of good name and character. Following the Executive Session, the Board reconvened into the regular session and approved the Personnel Recommendations.

The Hale County Board of Education held a Whole Board Training session. The training session focused on strategic planning, which was presented by Dr. Lisa Stamps.
