Borough of Cliffside Park Regular Meeting
The meeting included public hearings for the 2026 budget amendment and proposed park improvements. Resolutions were adopted regarding participation in The Interlocal Purchasing System, tax payment adjustments, various construction contract payments and change orders for library and sewer projects, and a tax lien against a property owner for emergent construction services. The Council also approved appointments to regional committees and the police department, authorized engineering services for sewer improvements, and discussed the transfer of liquor licenses and the execution of developer agreements. Additionally, the Council authorized the auction of surplus property, amended ordinances regarding off-duty police officer employment, and held a second reading and final passage for a bond ordinance to authorize public improvements and equipment acquisition.
