The Board of Education meeting included recognitions of FFA students and their advisor for their participation in the Farm to Table Winter Festival. The 2018-2021 Instructional Technology Plan for Fonda-Fultonville CSD focuses on leveraging technology to provide students with effective and personalized learning experiences, integrating 21st-century skills, equipping teachers with necessary technology skills and tools, and building a robust technology infrastructure. Key goals include enhancing student achievement, promoting digital citizenship, and ensuring equitable access to technology for all students, including those with disabilities and English language learners. The Smart Schools Investment Plan focuses on improving wired and wireless networks by running new cabling, replacing the fiber backbone, adding new switches, and augmenting uninterruptible power supplies. It also aims to bolster and improve the existing video surveillance and door access control by installing additional cameras and upgrading the Network Video Recorder. The plan intends to integrate the phone system with door access control systems to allow events to be triggered from appropriate phone users.
