The Pittsburg Independent School District is calling for a bond election to authorize the issuance of $88,350,000 in bonds for the construction, renovation, improvement, and equipment of school buildings, including necessary sites. The bonds may be issued in various series, maturing serially or otherwise, not more than 40 years from their date, and will bear interest at a rate not exceeding the maximum authorized by law. The Board of Trustees is authorized to levy and pledge annual ad valorem taxes on all taxable property in the District to pay the principal and interest on the bonds. The election is set for November 8, 2022, with early voting available at designated locations and times.
