The committee reviewed and approved several items, including the 2018-2023 Capital Improvement Program. Various resolutions were amended to accept additional funding from the New York State Office of Victim Services for victim and witness assistance programs. The committee also accepted grants related to the Guns Involved Violence Elimination Partnership and the FY2016 Critical Infrastructure Grant Program. Additionally, the committee authorized intermunicipal agreements for vehicle mobile data terminal access to the 911 computer-aided dispatch system and approved a contract for engineering services for the Monroe County Jail's infrastructure improvements.

The committee authorized several key transportation projects, including an intermunicipal agreement with the Town of Webster for traffic signal maintenance. Contracts were approved for construction services on the Burritt Road culvert project, engineering services for highway lighting rehabilitation in multiple towns, and construction services for the highway rehabilitation program on Norton Street. Additionally, the committee authorized the acquisition of real property interests for the Norton Street Improvement Project.

The committee addressed public comments from three speakers during a forum. New business included the authorization of a contract with Accurate Analytical Testing, LLC to support the Childhood Lead Poisoning Primary Prevention Program. Additionally, the committee approved an amendment to a previous resolution to increase contracts for the provision of Forensic Pathology Services to the Monroe County Office of the Medical Examiner.

The committee reviewed and adopted the 2016-2021 Capital Improvement Program. Additionally, the committee authorized several construction contracts, specifically for the Clarkson Hamlin Town Line Road culvert, the Clarkson Parma Town Line Road culvert, and the Sibley Road bridge. The committee also authorized the acquisition of interests in real property for the installation and maintenance of traffic signal equipment at 2270 Lake Avenue and 800 Long Pond Road.

The committee reviewed and adopted the authorization for the jurisdictional transfer of a portion of Brew Road in the Town of Riga to the Town of Riga.
