The Commission addressed several items, including the approval of a massage operator's license for a mobile studio, and five applications for temporary structures related to the Augusta National Women's Amateur tournament, such as security tents, concession trailers, and employee parking at a local church. Furthermore, the Commission reviewed and approved a major development revision to reduce rear setbacks for a residential pool, discussed a rezoning request to convert land from industrial to commercial use to allow for a multi-tenant commercial structure, and heard a proposal regarding the installation of a new freestanding sign for a church.

The Development Planning Services Committee meeting covered several agenda items under debate and consent. Discussions included awarding a contract for milling and inlay work at the sheriff's driving track, and another for crack seal and striping of the same track. Approval was sought for the purchase of a replacement bucket truck for Traffic Engineering, as the original was destroyed in a previous event and could not be repaired due to parts unavailability. The committee reviewed and recommended approval for several alcohol beverage licenses, including one for Mai Restaurant and one for Poncho Villa Mexican Kitchen. An extension was granted for Vault 221 LLC to open its premises before its awarded alcohol license is forfeited. The committee also addressed multiple easement encroachments for private property owners concerning pool decks, a driveway, a walkway, street trees in the right-of-way, and curb/gutter installation, all requiring maintenance agreements ensuring homeowner responsibility for future access needs.
