The Sonora Independent School District Wellness Plan outlines goals and objectives for nutrition promotion, nutrition education, physical activity, and other school-based activities to promote student wellness. Areas of focus include healthy eating habits, physical activity, staff development, and community engagement. The Sonora Elementary School 2023-2024 Campus Improvement Plan focuses on improving student academic achievement in reading, math, and science; enhancing student attendance; increasing parental involvement; creating a safe and conducive learning environment; improving technology utilization; and ensuring all students are taught by certified teachers.
