McAlester City Council Council Report
The council approved a Friendship City Agreement with the Municipality of Marciano della Chiana, Italy, to foster cultural and economic exchange. Updates were provided on the McAlester Public Library renovation, which remains on schedule for an October reopening. The council approved the purchase of fire department equipment, including helmets and an ice machine, and accepted the completion of the airport stormwater improvement project.
