The meeting focused on the process of goal setting for the district and the board. Discussion included the difference between district goals, which are used to evaluate the superintendent, and board goals, which relate to governance. The importance of aligning these goals with the existing strategic plan was emphasized, along with the necessity of establishing a clear calendar for evaluation processes. Roles and responsibilities were clarified, noting that while the board sets the goals, the administration is responsible for the action plans and implementation.
