The Board reviewed and discussed the current budget report, specifically regarding payments for advance and election day staffing, and equipment expenditures. Voter registration statistics were presented, noting total and inactive voter counts, and the Board approved the removal of vital records from the list of electors. Updates were provided on the RLA results and the status of state-led L&A testing. The Board discussed the logistical timeline for equipment deployment, advance voting dates, and upcoming pre-certification and certification procedures.
The board conducted a review and discussion regarding the pre-certification of election results. Discrepancies were noted at the Bold Springs precinct due to a voter check-in that could not be canceled, resulting in final voter counts of 9,852 Advance-In-Person and 21,392 Election Day voters. The discussion also addressed the processing of UOCOVA ballots, provisional ballots requiring duplication due to precinct assignment errors, and out-of-precinct provisionals. The board ultimately moved to certify the election results including the aforementioned ballots.
