Marian County Quorum Court Quorum Court Meeting
The Quorum Court met to discuss and approve several ordinances and resolutions. Topics included a review of Ordinance 2638 concerning agenda submission procedures and per diem payments for justices, and an appropriation of funds for compactor pickups. The court also authorized an appropriation for courthouse repairs, including window fixes and HVAC installation. Additionally, they established a fund for federal accounting and auditing, approved a new part-time position for the County Collector, and authorized the return of dividends from the Workers Compensation Trust. Further, the court addressed a grant from the American Library Association for accessibility modifications and discussed resolutions for financing bridge replacements following flood damage and for improving sheltering capabilities at the County Community Center.
