Hyde Park City Council Zoom Meeting
The council held a public comment session where residents addressed several issues, including concerns over storm water drainage management, low water pressure in the Juniper Ridge area, and the impact of rapid townhome and condo development on the city's small-town character. Residents also voiced frustration regarding the perceived hypocrisy of water conservation mandates during periods of drought when the city experienced water loss from a tank issue. In response to these concerns, the council directed public works to investigate the specific drainage and water pressure problems raised by community members.
