The meeting included a review of financial invoices paid since the previous report for various construction projects. Project updates were provided for the Measure T initiative, including the status of Merrill Hall, the P.E. buildings, the Soledad CTE building, football practice field and track renovations, and the Building J renovation. Additionally, information was shared regarding the storage of documents for completed Measure T projects.

The committee reviewed the 2024-25 financial and performance audits, both of which were clean with no findings. The President’s report covered recent internal elections for the Board of Trustees, upcoming spring semester enrollment, and the impact of federal government actions on district programs. Updates on Measure T projects were provided, including the Soledad CTE building, physical education buildings, and Building N (Merrill Hall). Additionally, the committee discussed organizational changes, including the resignation of the committee chair, and identified the need for a special meeting to reach a quorum for report approval and to address future scheduling conflicts.

The meeting focused on planning various campus events, including Women's History Month, Eid-Al-Fitr, Arab American Heritage Month, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Earth Day, Banda Night, Easter, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Mental Health Awareness Month, Cinco de Mayo, and an awards event called The Oscars. Additionally, the board approved the April and May budgets for these upcoming activities and received administrative reports.

The meeting included discussions on the results of a recent blood drive and planning for various upcoming campus events, including Women's History Month, Eid-Al-Fitr, Arab American Heritage Month, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and Earth Day. The Senate approved a budget of $3,500 for the upcoming Banda Night event. Other business items included the sponsorship of a study abroad program, planning for Club Rush, and preliminary discussions regarding commencement ceremonies and student motivation events.
